gwilburn
Just trying to figure out how to dress next week in the North. Who can you believe on the forecast temps? Keep in mind that us southerners have yet to acclimate to winter (since we haven't really had any).
revrnd
Greg, I'd look @ the following & just average the temps. I wouldn't want to say 1 is better than the others. http://www.theweathernetwork.com/ http://www.accuweather.com/index.asp?partner=accuweather http://www.weatheroffice.gc.ca/canada_e.html

Looks like next week is "forecast" to be relatively warm. The -20* F (-28* C) stuff during the day is what gets me
revrnd
My buddy suffers the most because he wears a Yammi jacket that he got when he bought his 40th Ann' Apex. Probably best described as a hockey jacket you would wear from the truck to the rink. I've got a 'doo Jacket: It's a fairly heavyweight garment. Bro' & SIL wear Choko jackets. The 3 of us all wear Choko Deluxe Cordura pants since '08 (as per Saguenay Bill of the QuebecRider forum) http://www.chokodesi...ard_deluxe.html. Choko has a heavier weight Extreme Cordura bib, but it wasn't available in Tall sizes. Underneath we've got polypropylene underwear. Never had any issues w/ the cold up north wearing this gear. gwilburn
I've got good clothes. AC Coat with interchangable 100 gm or 200 gm liner. Shell is very heavy cordura. AC bibs (really pants) with 150 gms. AC Extreme boots. AC leather gloves (insulated) and handlebar gauntlets (we call them "happy hands"). I also won a Klim Keweenaw parka. Really nice coat, but I think my AC is actually better and warmer. Just a bit gunshy... 9 years ago we were up during january... overnight temps were -43*C with daytime high at -26*F (i think that's -32*C). THAT is when we bought the happy hands.
