Cudney Racing
Here it is and I really think it is great for sledders coming to Muskoka. - Bill MESSAGE respecting MUSKOKA SNOWMOBILE TRAILS The snowmobile clubs of the Muskoka area would like to inform riders and property owners that most trails throughout the region are or will be open for use this winter (2009/10). Although some trails may be closed due to property permissions being suspended, alternate or reroutes through the trail system will be available. The eleven member clubs operating in Muskoka are jointly providing this information to correct some misleading and erroneous notices to the contrary that have recently appeared in the print and visual media sponsored by the executive of the Muskoka Landowners Association (MLA). Although snowmobile clubs in Muskoka remain sympathetic to some of the goals and objectives of the Muskoka Landowners Association with respect to the proper recognition, respect, and protection of private property rights, the clubs do not subscribe to the methods or attitude currently being employed by the MLA to achieve same. As such, the clubs have withdrawn their collective support of that organization, but will continue on our own initiative to pursue the previously stated property objectives with local Councils. Over the years, snowmobile clubs in Muskoka have established an excellent working relationship with many property owners, both private and public, based on trust and goodwill. This relationship continues today with the majority of landowners in our area and is gratefully recognized with sincere thanks and appreciation by the clubs. It is acknowledged that our recreational trail system would not exist without these ongoing partnerships. This message is approved by District 7 OFSC, consisting of the following 11 clubs: Algonquin Snowmobile Club Baxter Snow Riders Du-Ya-Wanna Trail Riders Happy Wanderers Snowmobile Club Highland Rovers Snowmobile Club Hill and Gully Riders Muskoka Sno-Bombers M.L.S.T.A. Smart Snowmobile Club Snowcrest Riders Snowmobile Club Tall Pines Snowmobile Club
