revrnd
What a difference a few days make. On Wednesday, when irREVerent & I rode down D101B, the road running was on snow albeit sanded. Talking to my friend up there Sat' night, West Oxbow Lake Road has a lot of puddles on it now (before the crappy weather arrived).
revrnd
It has snowed here most of the day. Plan to head north to E109 to update the ads @ a mapboard. Probably stage @ Tuckers Rd on the E107 if anyone is interested.
revrnd
Nice day out there today. Quite a few sledders out. Spoke to 1 chap & when I asked where he was headed to, he said Benoir Lake. I asked him if he knew a certain person. He laughed, the guy I know is 2 doors down from him. 160 klicks I don't think we ever had more than 20" on the snow stick this winter On TOP E north of Harcourt North of Fishtail Creek

revrnd
TOP E 601 Miskwabi Lake intersection. I hadn't ridden the 601 since our RAP tour of 2013. Not sure when I rode east of there. It was in great shape. Usually it's pretty beat w/ sledders doing the Hali' - Whitney - LSP triangle. revrnd
Travelling south on the Miskwabi Trail The 1st 2 pics are near the 602 intersection (scout property that groveryyz w posting about). revrnd
Looking north on 606 Railbed Trail east of Tory Hill. revrnd
Staged up in Wilberforce today. That area got a couple of inches of snow on Sat' night. Trails a bit icy underneath. The Shoe Tree on 602 east of Drag Lake in the Scout Reserve. Anyone familiar w/ this area? The signage say that 602 ends where Inkinen Lane starts off the Kennaway Road. The iTG shows it continuing west to Dudley Road & then north to Blueberry Lane. Ex-TTC Peter Witt streetcar. No sign of Denis... Oh wait, wrong spelling Looking east at the HCSA #10 turnoff to Haliburton Lake. Looking west. Trails were in great shape. TOP E seemed icier in the corners than the Miskwabi Trail, so be careful if riding thru there in the next few days. And some people wonder why their tracks don't last. revrnd
Somewhat icy conditions on the railbed today affecting handling & cooling. 140 klicks today On TOP E just south of McArthur Mills. Road was crappy, so I didn't bother riding to Griff's On Bessemer spur heading back towards the main railbed. No transports on the trails, just this billboard. On E110 just west of B106E Rock cut south of Detlor Ice formation. I bet it would've looked a lot 'bluer' w/ the sun on it.

grover_yyz
All familiar areas for me. Glad the trails held up for your last ride. Any idea if the trail into Wilberforce will move off the road at the end of 606? When there is little to no snow its a nasty road run. I suspect landowner issues on both sides of the road which is too bad. jerry
