Did a Mennonite buy old club house property. When I went by last weekend, they had stalls outside to tie horses too.?

I believe he is Mennonite but not horse and buggy type.

We just came back from checking our trail system. The low level bridge near the old clubhouse is impassible due to a number of bery large chunks of ice on the bridge. As well we came across trail base washouts one of which was appro24" wide and 18"deep so I don't see our trails being open as the groomer is apparently not going out.

Hmmm...lol

I didn't have much hope for anything below Conestoga Lake. Every time I refresh my data I see more clubs reopening though.

looks like Alma, Conestoga Lake and Palmerston are yellow this morning.

My season is done.

Ya, couple of false starts to spring this year. Looks like another week of low temps before spring takes hold.

The snow made for some good deer pictures though.

LOL, I've got a drift higher than the snow fence on the house side of it and green grass showing beside the drift.  This is going to make finishing up trail work interesting. Our club is down to 2 fields to stake thanks to a handful of volunteers, waiting for them to get plowed. No landlevelling done on our club trails that I know of. Not sure if any surrounding clubs got levelling done or not.

I know there is a lot of work and appreciation to all the volunteers and land owners

just nice to see the white stuff again

Maryhill area has had some land levelling done thankfully . My neighbor plows down to the clay , trail crosses 4 of his and his brothers fields . I have a short reroute to do, l figured no problem . Until l got to the old fence line dang ,rocks, stumps, trees, wood and steel fence post ,wire box fencing, barb wire, oh did l mention half buried box springs . Hoping that box of motivation l ordered from Amazon arrives soon .

Apparently there is sign saying Piper Arms is in fact coming to Crossroads, I didn't see the sign yet but its what I've been told

Despite the weather networks inaccuracy I still get excited about the possibility of our area getting 10-20 cms through New Year’s Day

one would think after all the years of disappointment with forecasts I’d lose my enthusiasm but my passion for a day on the trails keeps me hopeful lol

Nice where you go today? I hope to give it a whirl tomorrow

Trails were get used , not abused ,   around Maryhill, Ariss , Elora . Must have been ladies day , lots of ponytails showing .  I don,t look for permits anymore . No enforcement so what's the point in getting worked up. I do like shaming the dickheads that ride off trail .
