thetorches
I see trails are yellow in the forest. Anybody been in there. Is it rideable. Thanks.
maverick
I saw another post showing photos as of friday that it was good on the inner forest trails. Hopefully it doesn't go red tomorrow.

maverick
as of friday they still had good "white" snow cover and rideable conditions - its a shaded forest
monte1214
I'd stay in the forest if you're going. Nothing but mud at Noone's and the trails around the tunnel. "Might" be good to unload at the Porter Rd lot and go in from there... Good luck!!
Paul Yarek
Ganaraska Forest. Southern part of D3 NE of Bowmanville. I was hoping it was a good topless restaurant or peeler joint.

maverick
Went to the Ganny today so I could see for myself how these trails were retaining their yellow status amidst a sea of red. Took a foot hike for a while first then decided to go for a run. Within a km of my ride into the forest I could feel the temperature drop significantly. It was 5 degrees at the parking lot but in the forest I was surprised at how much ice and hard pack there still was. Real mixed bag of conditions in there but I was able to do a few small loops. Still quite a bit of snow but conditions are quickly becoming "all-terrain".
