apeXMAN
I went all through the Yamaha sled site - could not find sled weights anywhere. They list the weight in the owners manual of the Apex as 690 Lbs with all the fluids...I read somewhere that the power steering models weigh 70 lbs more then the older ones .. Sasquatch777
They needed a new rear suspension. I am surprised that it is a mono shock Don't know if the Single SHot is a good or bad suspension yet but Yamahas mono shock has been raved about for years for its supple ride! Sasquatch777
The new Apexes hold .8 gallon less fuel!! I wonder if the gas mileage has improved so the range is the same??? Can't find info on that. Looks like the seat is higher, so have they dropped the centre of gravity to compensate, I wonder as well. My XTX gets 18 to 20 miles per imperial gallon. 130 plus miles to a tank.
