Dan-Senior Posted January 31, 2013 Share Posted January 31, 2013 Dear Supervisor, I regret to inform you that I am going to be absent from work for the rest of the winter. My doctor gave me the unfortunate prognosis yesterday that I've picked up what appears to be a rare form of Sledolitis. It peaks during winter months and subsides during the spring thaw, which could be April. Doctor also indicated it was highly contagious, and that I had to absolutely stay away from work. At my age and with a weak immune system, the Doc said I needed to watch out for ATVolitis which usually starts in May. Thanks for your understanding and I look forward to seeing you, but maybe not this year. Please feel free to pass my workload to other colleagues and maybe do some yourself!
