  1. You burning high octane. I find in 900 it gives me more range around 50 km’s per tank. I think it is corn in regular hurting mileage. Sled can adjust timing for high octane so I just burn that now.
  2. He be dead a bucket of crap weighs over 1000 Ibs today so won’t really matter.
  3. My friend had those too, like 10 years ago. New trend has been to mount coil shocks upside down, which gives a much better ride on new sleds. Advantage of air shocks were weight shavings I believe. New skidoo’s with rear air shocks and coil over shocks on front give a nice ride.
  4. South can actually be smoother then muskoa most Saturday mornings. Friday is a good ride day too. I try to get out Tuesday thru Friday with odd weekend ride.
  5. New sleds and milder winters real hard to get a nice flat trail in south central ontario on weekends. I have been turning to hailburton forest on saturdays if princess joins me and wants to ride double. No complaints out of there and they groom every night on weekends.,
  6. That’s not bad guys. Try calling Rogers. Been on hold for over an hour before. Then when I finally get someone phone drops call and have to do it all over again.
  7. It ridiculous here in south. I sold my house in town for over double what I paid for it, in 2004. Went up another 7 percent this year. I sold it last year so had it for 15 years. Farm land same way. Some are getting 30,000 an acre on my road now. Bust sooner or later I think. Incomes aren’t increasing just low interest rates are fueling current boom.
  8. 3/4 of motel rooms will probably be rented out again too, especially with COVID. Good to see thorough. Hopefully it lasts up there, un like Kirkland lake.
  9. Ok with this COVID issue and no place to eat for day. Thinking of out fitting my enclosed trailer with a big construction heater. Uses about 5kw and can easily heat 1000 square feet, so should be no challenge to heat trailer, even if not insulated. I bring a 8kw genset with me and can run a microwave too. Setup, a few folding chairs and foldable tables and I am all set. Should be warm and comfortable enough enjoy a decent meal in parking lot after my ride. Has anyone tried this? Obviously I will run generator outside via a 240 volt 30 amp cord. Just have to drill a small hole in trailer floor to fish cord thru.
  10. I plan to stop at Tim’s and get a hot coffee instead. I just tell them to dip wings twice in forty creek sauce .
  11. Yeah Polaris you have is one good looking snowmobile too. Hopefully we get some good lasting snow this winter.
  12. Walk down road to your place with our plastic cups !
  13. Wowsey. Going to be some tensions if this gets around now, that turbo doo’s sister knows.
  14. See what happens when you leave. Go back up there so we can get 20” here to ride on please! I dare yeah.
  15. Government budget is out of control with Covid and less taxes coming in too. Nurse association Claims they are laying off nurses now too, when we need them most. Going to have to cut back on police, fire etc to balance books in future. Going to get ugly.
  16. No way he is switching, same with sled junk. Yamaha forever like nunz is to Polaris.
  17. I dunno about that. All major cities are at risk because of senior homes. It won’t take much for north bay or Timmins or Hearst for hospitals to get over whelmed and into stage 2 for 28 days. I can see it being a nightmare from a logistics stand point. If connection trails do get closed, how will they even get re opened if snows and thaws and rains etc. Not liking this idea. They aren’t closing roads down linking communities so why do trails have to be disconnected.
  18. Sounds like a lot of if’s. Looks like a big loop is out of question, since if they do close some of connection trails you need to complete your ride, it would be a dangerous one, if trails blow in and not groomed any more. I can see some riders getting caught off guard this winter. Kind of disappointing this could happen and force us to ride in circles all over province. People are going to trailer to open areas anyways, and those parking lots will be packed with truck and trailers too. I guess every day we pick a different area and circle trail to ride.
  19. As long as trails are open and grooomed, I am going too.
  20. I always gave them vin too and whatever else they asked. Just left word viper out. it was still an sx Yamaha 700 . 800 a year that way or 2200 with viper as model. That was during the time it was hard to get insurance on certain models because of names. Mach, formula, vipers and a few others were on high insurance list that no one, but a fidelity insurance company would touch. It was ridiculous to be honest.
