Purchased trailers from Reinhart, Miska and Edge......all have been good experiences, no complaints. I almost bought a trailer from Jensen & Northport as well, but never happened....but good to deal with.

I tossed around the idea for a few years to get a pair of the DOO muffs & used thinner gloves vs. bulky ones, ended up buying a pair of the Kimpex muffs that are almost the same as the DOO's last year plus a pair of cheaper thin work gloves from MWW - worked great last & hands were never cold, but the cheap gloves did not last, so since the set up works great, bought a better pair of gloves this year. You are correct, works way better and I usually need to turn off my heat and the muffs are like little over that hold the heat inside of them!

LOL....as frustrating as this is for me to have & watch the damage being done, I am also taking it with a grain of salt and a fair amount of sarcasm to lighten it up. I am actually glass half full & have some hope for normalcy in the not so distant future. -
New riding gloves arrived today, hope they work well and last!

I am not familiar with the landscape in that region (private gated land, crown, etc).....but this is what I just looked up on the OFSC site: The OFSC has received permission from the NBPSDHU to proceed with limited grooming operations to facilitate OPP trail monitoring and other EMS support, and so that when trails in the affected districts re-open they are ready to ride. Groomers on trails do not mean trails are open. So there will be some upkeep, etc.....but as you stated, it will be a difficult one. I just cannot see locals, or even non local not jumping on the trails to ride, get to a lake, some off trail locations / hydro lines, logging roads, etc......unless there is a barricade stopping that, and even than, people find ways around them. I think most will agree, a very poor choice that once again will have adverse affects......but some will sway the other way too of course.... -

I thought the trails will continue to be maintained for local enforcement to do there thing and keep things in check vs. get out of control making reopening at a possible future easier......in which case, you know the trails will be used, I am sure of it. -

I love my aftermarket can..... I have said it before, but I think the best way to voice is letting your MPP know, either an email or phone call. Will it matter - no idea. But I did at least hear from mine stating the following: I have shared your email with Caroline and have added you to a Campaign of other constituents with the same concerns. Caroline shares this information with her colleagues at Queens park, while advocating for the needs and concerns of her constituents. So I suppose it is good.....of course I asked again if there is internal fear of voicing these concerns like Mr Baber did for fear of being kicked out...... -

x2....the debate is very good, but I get the feeling that some think it takes away from this forum, but on the contrary, that is what these platforms are for, share info and discuss the thoughts of others with a common interest, and that is snowmobiling! -

But many politicians and those in higher level management positions within our public sectors, are in the well off to very well of bracket that are suing us the tax payer for more poor decisions made recently. -

Better get out and ride than on the weekend or better yet a week-day (if you can)......I will add responsibly though - not that I think it will really mater given the mind set of so many with already preconceived judgements). Improving conditions, open trails and with the colder temps happening this week, the lakes will be getting better......safe, not sure. -

You are thinking very selfishly, not using any common sense and living in your own snowmobiler bubble............... -

This is a pretty interesting article from a person that appears to have a great deal of knowledge, exposure and training with what we are dealing with. Not sure if this has been posted already though. https://calgaryherald.com/news/local-news/corbella-10?fbclid=IwAR2kLEwrSgRsA4Pe0S0Sk9Vg1W4wrB6aAE5quszi83HExIWjeyIUOmzvqr8 -

What do all you armchair internet doctors know anyways....... Easy to blame people who choose to ride with all these "reports" of breaking the rules..... Although I am sure they were some that did, but I am also guessing that it was a very small percentage of sledders that did. I know a couple of guys that went to NB to ride this past Sat, they each drove their own trucks to ride the day together, packed food, drinks, etc.... so they could enjoy themselves and still be responsible given the environment. Or maybe easier targets because they rode and you did not because of choices you made. Or all the paranoid folks that are living in fear right now, not working as a result of that, that have nothing better to do with all their government paid free time off that sit and watch out their window at all the other people trying to get on with life, issuing complaints about what they see... Sorry if I sound a wee bit jaded.... Correct me if I am wrong, but it seemed to me with all these systems in place, the "COVID-19 task force" was able to get a pretty good idea where one might be getting infected by, if so, would that not tell the tale of infections and where it came from to properly point the finger as to where the problem is with some level of intelligence? Seems to be another knee jerk reaction, not because there is really a spike in positive cases or in facet people not following protocols, more so because people are not "following the stay at home order", so this is what we will do to fix that. So just to be clear: Group of riders drive north for the day to ride They ride together for the day wearing a helmet for my guess 90% of the time Cannot go to or in any establishments to possibly "spread the virus" that they might have End of the day, they come home Sounds like we have a pretty serious risk on our hands here..... -
No more "likes" for this.....but seems to be more common sense approaches, and not from the "armchair" committee.....
-
I do not know, but if it is not all that good, perhaps consider staging at Tory Hill and hit the ib & O rail line there & head North. Depending where you drive from, not much further and conditions were pretty good last week and I am guessing might see a little less traffic.
-
If that is what you believe to be happening and you are happy with it, what more can be said.
-
Better get out and than!

I have never actually had one on the trails, or the road come to think of it, but it seems to becoming more commonly heard as happening on the trails. With the MADD program that has caused these random checks to be allowed, I do not think they need any reason to do this. Some officers like to look a little harder and perhaps inadvertently want to dig, just because they can...... FTR, I am good with the checks, but I would like to think before a breath test is done on a person, they have some tell tale sign to justify it.

My thoughts on waiting, is future changes that might truly change the atmosphere. I hope not, but with the craziness of what is going on, you never know.
