Deal is now sealed......or I guess as sealed as it gets for now! Excited for 2021/22 season....feels weird not having a sled though, never had it play out this way before.
-
So do I take it that freight & PDI on average for Doo dealers is $750.00? I was wondering what the fees for that is now a days.......$500 for freight & $250 for PDI.

That was my plan originally.....then they up'd the ante to 180 hp, so just had to go with a 2022. Plus with it being my first DOO, I was worried about possibly getting another person's problem that would give me a bad taste with DOO because of someone else's lack of care. And on top of that, what I got for my old sled, I am sure closed the price gap between a 2021 and a 2022....so new it was!

yes, if you think you will buy new or hold off to buy new the next year, used market is still nuts.

My sister has 50 acres not far from us, track out back, that could use some work, but serves the purpose. They have a old horse oval track as well, that is great for the kids now as they built their confidence riding. They will need a bigger bike for the track though, so that will come soon as they get bigger......daughter could likely jump up a size in bikes now, but I think she is happy riding the PW50 for now...she is not as adventurous or daring as my son on the bike.

Just sold my sled. Listed it Tues night, a ton of interest and first guy that came this morning, took it.....he really wanted to come yesterday afternoon to see and pick it up, but I was busy. Two other guys were asking about coming later today. Crazy year for used sled market, I am in shock that it sold this fast and for way more than I would expected after having it for as long as I did. I could have got more I am sure, but happy to see it go so fast, no hassles and someone else can enjoy it as much as I did!

The pricing I received from a few dealers out the door less the tax is not at list price, so they is some wiggle room. I did not go with a Mach for my flavour though, but I cannot see why all the models would not have some room to play. I would even suggest the higher the list, the more the wiggle room, not a ton, but I would think more. Agreed, crazy year, yuo need to make the hay when you can, and right is the time for that in this field if interest.

Dirt bikes I assume? We have a couple, really enjoy them in the summer......I think the bigger issue is having a hassle free place to ride them, which thankfully we do, otherwise I doubt we would have them.
-
In my head, yes....just need to stop back into the dealer to give them the $500.00 & complete paperwork. Will be doing that this week.
-
Kind of wish they offered other colours on the Renegade X.....but Black it will be, maybe see about adding some accents at a later date. Should go well with my Black & Green Cat riding gear

J/R never used to when we stayed there. Sleds were parked out front or back, usually close to your room, depending where your room was.

One of the dealers I talked to today suggested he had 90 spring orders to work with from BRP.......I think he said he was around 10 less than one week in.

The issue lies in whos interests are best.....but then you have the option to vote on a platform, that might best suit your interests, until they flip and follow a bunch of medical people that no one knew carried the power that they apparently do. As for what happens when not the case, you do not need to look far right now to see. -
Skelly openly admitted to the fines for his biz over the years and no license, not something that is hidden. I agree with the go fund me stuff, there is no guarantee the money people donate will be used for the intended purpose, it could go to something else, kind of like the scam of the homeless person that drives a nice high end car, but begs on the street. I recall reading something about that thought or question in the comments section of the go fund me for him a while ago (taking the money and running), do not recall what was actually said or stated though. I still hope that he is successful with this and I am rooting for him!

I have no doubt you can....LOL. I have always carried full coverage on all my sled....knowing who is at fault & taking responsibility, are two different things, especially through the winding bush trails just wide enough for one modern day sled.

So much common sense here!! Most rational people I think would understand decisions made, if there was actual valid reasons and data to support it, that was shared & up for debate. -
I am usually tight to the right, unless line of sight is great. On right turns, I keep to the inside, even if there is a berm, I will saddle it. On left turns, it will depend on the turn, how tight it is, etc.....how wide I will go. Over hills, I will usually try and peak over by standing, if I can, but for sure tight to the right as well. On the lakes, I usually do not stay close to the stake line and try to scan the surroundings as much & as often as I can......two sleds on a lake moving at a fast clip, sure can get into a situation faster than you realize. Thankfully I have been pretty lucky for the most part, knock on wood.....I know I can control my riding, others, not so much, which is also why I rarely ride other peoples sleds, I will usually only do so riding North ON or QC where trails are wider & more forgiving, it is not me I am worried about, it is the others that I cannot control that I concern myself with.

Risk, yep.... and accepted. So far, never my fault on close calls.... I’d admit and take responsibility if it was me though

This is probably very true! -
Ya, that was just crazy......was sending that many police, some on horses, required to close a restaurant, talk about sending a message and totaling abusing the power that a city has or thinks they have, which that right there is another huge North American issue right now, in case people did not realize.
-
He sure does not fit the model for what is he doing or be a perfect person, but I am rooting for him, not solely for his benefit, but for so many others not willing to take it this far.....clearly based on the go fund me, there is a large number that also support it.

The evidence is clear, STAY HOME and SAVE LIVES...... It is so great that we live in a part of the country where we can all have our own opinions, thoughts and freedoms..... -
Just found this update on Adam and the fight. Will be very interesting to see how this goes.....hopefully find out sooner vs. later, but I am thinking not. Check out the comments around the 22 min mark about the authority that the non-elected medical body has (NB/PS region being shut down by one), that I am sure most had no idea....wonder if it is a new thing or been around a while, but has not been a reason to witness it.

You rode the area since it opened? I was wondering if their presence is still as strong as it seemed to be when the trails were closed......I am guessing it has decreased, but who knows. -

Anyone can comment on the amount of OPP now in this region doing their thing now that the trails are actually open?
