  1. What kind of saddle bag do you and the Mrs have......looks like soft bags vs. the usual hard LinQ bags that you see people use?
  2. Look forward to the pictures, maybe soon. I wonder if you need to delete some old pictures and you are maxed out for size.
  3. Have not had studs now for just over 10 years, it is nice to not worry about them, but you need to be aware of it though and as long as you are, no issues. I would agree with you though that for the wife or one of my kids, I would likely stud. I prefer to not over stud a track and only use single backers, large washers & as tall of a nut that you can get away with. Never had any issues with them in the past when I did stud, but I would check for loose nuts periodically as well.....it is the loose nuts that leads to issues no doubt or not catching a stud that is on its way out. I am very curious to see how this Ice Ripper track I went with for my new sled will work.....if it works well, I would forgo the studs for wife and/or kids and go with pre-studded for sure instead.
  4. Incorrect..... gas pump right in Dorset. Used by all. Actually the one at the nearby marina, you ring bell at pump, pump turned on, you pump and then pay at an outside debit machine..... pretty simple really. If you’re concerned, wear a glove when touching...... personally not for me, but I’ll wash my hands once I can.... same as always before this nonsense. I’ll do some level of precautionary measure but I ain’t no Covid Karen ( no offence to the Karen’s of the world ) As a business, I’d either do pay at pump or an outdoor payment system. To each their own though.
  5. Fix first of course or sell as is with known issue. I’m sure you’ll see how you feel in the fall and possibly deals available.
  6. Been good for the sport no doubt. Trails protected by the bush or with a packed base should be okay, but won’t last, no doubt.
  7. Lol, yes.... guess I better learn to act the part. Any lessons you can share....
  8. It’s crazy what some enjoy or will ride. To each their own I suppose.
  9. Given Don’s update, it sounded like some business owners in the area are not on board with opening to the public .... they have to do what they need too. should be easy enough to set up an outside or side window payment option to mitigate the risks.
  10. Might be a pair of Doo’s in the next while than.....
  11. I had every intention of buying a lightly used 2021..... but that changed on Feb 17.
  12. Well, in fairness, you are a Doo rider....part & parcel most of the time......
  13. Slow down here, usually give a thumbs ups and look for one in return that all okay. On this same topic as stopping on the side of the trail, on the flip side, how about those that pick the most inappropriate spot to stop, and without a mechanical issue......same thing, just a complete lack of thought.
  14. I assume it is the Shell in town that people might be complaining about.....MTH is really not that far down the trail as plan B for fuel.
  15. My mindset was a discount would be nice to see, but was not affecting if I was buying.... that was happening for sure.
  16. That’s about what I was quoted by three dealers, two were the same, one was slightly higher. I was just a guy off the street, no past history.
  17. Have not run out on that run to date......if your tank is full when you leave, I would find it hard to believe if someone did. Now if you have one of those guys in the group that thinks they are good, no need to fill, might have a different outcome......
  18. Thank you! Renegade X 900 Turbo R Black, 1.5" IR, old school gauge & no quick adjust. I was on the fence about the XRS, but figured the money I will save by getting the X, will cover the 1+1 seat I am buying.
  19. Deal is now sealed......or I guess as sealed as it gets for now! Excited for 2021/22 season....feels weird not having a sled though, never had it play out this way before.
  20. So do I take it that freight & PDI on average for Doo dealers is $750.00? I was wondering what the fees for that is now a days.......$500 for freight & $250 for PDI.
  21. That was my plan originally.....then they up'd the ante to 180 hp, so just had to go with a 2022. Plus with it being my first DOO, I was worried about possibly getting another person's problem that would give me a bad taste with DOO because of someone else's lack of care. And on top of that, what I got for my old sled, I am sure closed the price gap between a 2021 and a 2022....so new it was!
  22. yes, if you think you will buy new or hold off to buy new the next year, used market is still nuts.
  23. My sister has 50 acres not far from us, track out back, that could use some work, but serves the purpose. They have a old horse oval track as well, that is great for the kids now as they built their confidence riding. They will need a bigger bike for the track though, so that will come soon as they get bigger......daughter could likely jump up a size in bikes now, but I think she is happy riding the PW50 for now...she is not as adventurous or daring as my son on the bike.
  24. Just sold my sled. Listed it Tues night, a ton of interest and first guy that came this morning, took it.....he really wanted to come yesterday afternoon to see and pick it up, but I was busy. Two other guys were asking about coming later today. Crazy year for used sled market, I am in shock that it sold this fast and for way more than I would expected after having it for as long as I did. I could have got more I am sure, but happy to see it go so fast, no hassles and someone else can enjoy it as much as I did!
