  1. Hopefully things start to turn more Yellow and Green in other areas of the province early in the New year - spread the load.
  2. Are the stocks lights (on the Doo) really that bad??? Not usually a big night time rider anyways, but it seems the Beamtechs are quite popular.
  3. Oh my - great to see you back ! Merry Christmas as well…. I hope Santa was good to you.
  4. Sometimes there is more to a story - perhaps the case, nobody knows.
  5. The rail mounted ones I have always used worked great too in all conditions except going in reverse Only complaint I guess is the number of times people would come up to me and tell me I have something hanging from my skid....which started to become comical. I understand the Doo ones can be used in reverse.....and if the ones I have do not do the trick, I may need to grease the wheel some more and pick a set up of them instead.
  6. I am no expert, but the liability first lies on the OFSC based on land use agreements that are signed. Than there is 15m available per occurrence to be used for I assume court fees and for judges ruling based on the outcome of the case. Could it go beyond 15m.....I supposed, but given all the policies and waivers put in place based on the nature of the activity, I think 15m is on the generous side.
  7. Will you be letting your friend know about this in case there has been a misunderstanding so this could be prevented and remove some of the risk that his wheat crop might be damaged?
  8. Never tried them before, always had the wire scratchers - that always worked great for me.......so went with these and see how they are. I know Doo has the tunnel mounted ones that seem to have great reviews - odd person has claimed there's did break......but visually I do not like them hanging down from the tunnel. I had full intentions of buying the ones the that mount to the a-arms, but again I was not overly impressed with strapping an aluminum clamp to my a-arm....
  9. And I forgot to mention, this bag that is BRP, Lynx sells as well....but for $20.00 more for some reason.
  10. Ya, maybe a bit bigger than what I wanted, but the Kimpex was for sure too small and I wanted something with a lower profile vs. boxy......so this is what I decided on. Having a bit extra room is not such a bad idea, especially since I plan on taking each of my kids on a trip at some point for a couple of days, so the added room may come in handy.
  11. Bought the adventure bag and it arrived today with a couple of other items - LinQ lock & electric shield adapter. It fits very well & the 1+1 seat should fit between the bag and the seat based on the pre-marked holes in the tunnel!
  12. I had an 01 with the 4.7 - it was an awesome truck, only sold it because I bought an enclosed car trailer that was too much for the little engine that could. Could not go back now though, I like my full size trucks.
  13. And good on you for that!
  14. I have a gently used set of Curve skis if anyone is interested - must be worth at least a grand with the Covid up charge.....
  15. That has been me wondering as well - I ordered Feb 25, and I have no idea when my sled was in, just when I picked it up. Combination of order date and perhaps the options picked - no idea....however mine is also an X with no quick adjustment and standard gauge. Or just one of the lucky ones.....this time.
  16. I think part of the spindle - but looks like a bolt on piece vs. a special spindle just for the TX skis. So I think not having the factory skis could be worked around with option B - if allowed.
  17. So what is the deal if they are missing skis - that is an easy fix by using aftermarket and should not stop anything, but will BRP allow that?!?!?
  18. Yep, been dealing myself with silly new shipping challenges the last 18 months. If there is a positive to this, clients are far more understanding on projects when you update them that materials/shipment are delayed.
  19. Double wamy - not only shortage on parts for net new sleds, how about sold/used sleds under warranty that may need parts due to failures, breakages, etc..... Manufactures need to be able to support both sides or more epic failures all around.
  20. Yep, agree 100% - unless the silliness stops, there is no way these sleds that people walked away from will be discounted. I hope it does stop though as the upward trend on all needs to be corrected, but sadly will not anytime soon.
  21. It would seem so and the same thing I read as well. I just checked the online parts catalogue and the 2022 Mach, XRS & X for sure use belt 417300571 (same one the 850 uses) Last year 900T used 417300531 - so different belt for sure. I know I read somewhere as well about people using the 850 belt on the 900T and not seeing any benefit other than a lighter wallet - but lots to do with perception as well.
  22. From what I’ve read so far, the Doo belt is not bad at all, just was not as sticky as the 821, making the 821 more responsive, but it dropped the rpm’s a bit so caused for slight adjustments with the clutch to compensate. Which was interesting to hear the belt on the Mach is stickier…. maybe they changed that based on the above feedback from previous years. I have both, so can test them both out and see if my seat of the pants feeling can tell the difference.
  23. I’ll have to look up the OEM belt specs, but sounds like 2021 belts are different than 2022…. 2022 are “stickier”.
  24. Good point - I wonder if it will fit on the Renegade, I think so based on the description on the website.
