Tata Chika Pika Lodge Access from C Trail (Gogamma Area)
Yamatario replied to Gadgetman's topic in Main Clubhouse
We were just there for lunch on Thursday and had some home made soup and fresh homemade bread that Annie had just made. That was all they had as they run the place themselves. Soup was awesome and hit the spot. The C trail down is completely different from years ago. It no longer runs the power line but instead runs logging roads. Trail was awesome and conditions were great. Lookout just south of them is a always great view. -

We have been following updates on L143. We will be running this trail in 2 weeks heading from Auld Reekie to Cochrane.

Not familiar with Doo suspension as I am on Yamacat and Poo, but all suspensions have similar principles. To put more or less pressure on skis the front shock in your skid has more influenced than your ski shock springs. Your front or center shock/spring is the pivot point in your sled. You should back of your ski setting then play with center shock going harder and lighter in the same day on the same snow and play with settings from there. Hope this helps.

I was out twice this week in SW Ontario and our new challenge is to never sled beyond the stakes, or you owe lunch for the whole group. Actually had a lot of fun with this new challenge. First day out I missed a bend coming too fast over a rise. I could have fought it and made the bend, but took the hit for the team. I have never seen so few tracks leaving the trails as these last two days. It was good to see the respect for our trails.

Social media or forums are not the place to post your lone position. Abitibi camp, should sit down at a table with both clubs together or singularly and discuss the issues, or vice versa for the clubs to sit down with Abitibi, then with all 3 groups together come out on social media with a collective statement showing the unity. You do not get anywhere singularly making statements, as then it becomes he said, she said, sh*t show, which is what it is now.

I picked up my Kimpex bag and mount today. It's a tight fit and not fully tighten down yet as I am still wrenching on my sled yet. Trying to pimp it out with some blue LED lights yet. I still want to get the 1gal or 1.75 gallon white container for oil to fit on top of my gas container.
-
Just got my call this aft that my bag and mount are in. Will try to post pictures tomorrow with it mounted behind gas can.
