Dan-Senior
What an Amazing Day ────────────── When you find a secret gem, what do you do? You keep going back. Another spectacular day of snowmobiling at Black Creek Outfitters on highway 129 where we racked up 160 kms today. Thank you Jean and Don for the wonderful hospitality including a tasty lunch, coffee and social chat. Looking forward to more visits this winter. Today's video attached below. Your videos make me want to be up in the D13 riding!!! Lol The short w/e run (limited time) to WaWa didn’t satisfy the urge to ride... TY for the short video clip!!! How is the ice and trails up that way??? It sounds like we shouldn’t have any issues getting into the cabin since we have to cross the lake? As always Dan, THANK YOU for the info!!! Dan-Senior
Very similar looking terrain and good eye. This bridge in the video is located on the Camp 8 Creek road near the Kindiogami Road north of Elliot Lake. There used to be a bailey bridge many years ago, but it was washed away and replaced by this make-shift wooden one. As part of yesterday's ride, we launched at Black Creek Outfitters on highway 129, then sledded down the Kindiogami Road for 35 miles to highway 546. From there, is a bush road that leads to the Camp 8 road, opening up a loop run using the Portelance road. Very interesting country with all these bush roads. Dan-Senior
Thessalon / Bruce Mines to Black Creek Outfitters / Aubrey Falls Check out the BM2 trail. This was a huge link for us about 20 years back, then it was shut down due to swampy / difficult terrain. Very happy to see it open again and a great opportunity to do the day loop from Elliot Lake to Black Creek to Thessalon to Iron Bridge to Elliot Lake.
