KCC
This will become a familiar scene on sections of the North Renfrew Snowmobile Association Tops 'A' trails before the start of the 2015 sledding season. Thanks goes out to the NRSA Trail Improvement Committee. Their dedicated, hard work has resulted in the club successfully being awarded NTC trail improvement grant funds to continue improving the Tops 'A' trail through North Renfrew territory. Continue to follow us for more club news.

KCC
Christmas came early for NRSA! Our new 2015 Husky Groomer and Mogul Master MBP 18-9 drag arrived on Sunday Dec 21! Our new groomer and drag was made possible thanks to club contribution and being awarded an OFSC groomer grant. The OFSC groomer grant was made possible due to funds raised from a portion of all 2015 OFSC permit sales. A big THANK YOU to all 2015 OFSC permit buyers. Our 15 year old TS110 New Holland groomer/drag has 6448 hours logged with an average of approximately 600 hours per season in the last 4 season. This almost doubles the provincial average for seaonal hours per groomer. Sure was great to be able to add the additional groomer to our club, which should help extend the life of our 15 year old groomer! Thanks again! KCC
NRSA Trail Update: TOPS A - Deep River to Harvey Lake is limited, TOPS A- Deep River to Chalk RIver is still closed need more snow! Club trails 131, 132, 134, 136, 137, 138, are limited. Club Trails 130, 133, 135 are still closed. The ice is not very good on the 136 side of the 1km of unmaintained trail between the 136 & 137 so you not cross this area yet! As a friend was over there yesterday. I have not been out yet so I hoping tomorrow to fire up the sled!

Another Phase
Thanks for all the updates. Do you have any feedback on the section from Pembroke to Deep River? It is still showing closed. We are planning a ride on the 23rd and are hoping everything will be open by then. Just wondering if you can offer any comments on far away they are from going "limited". KCC
The A-trail from east of Chalk River (NRSA Club) to Harvey Lake (boundary with Missing Link) is limited (groomer was out yesterday from Deep River to Chalk River). A-trail Pembroke to west of Petawawa (Timberline & Keenta clubs) are now limited as well. I'm sure you should be okay for your trip on Jan 23, I will post any more details as soon as possible. KCC
We hope that some of you have finally been able to get out and enjoy the beginning of the sledding season in NRSA. The trails continue to be listed as limited but are improving with every cm of fresh snow that falls. Every good trail is made better when all riders are helping to monitor the trail conditions. Should you come upon a problem or hazard on the trail please leave us a message here or contact one of the members listed on the NRSA Contact List on our website (www.nrsa.ca). Thanks for your assistance and drive safely!
