    • Also was talking with a dealer who mentioned the amount of spring order walk away has been the highest they can recall.   people are broke.
    • I am not surprised to see Peak close.     They grew way too fast and didnt have the knowledge of the Polaris product to give a confidence inspiring experience.     They collected non-currents and were not in a cash flow position to blow them out when necessary and the problem only got worse.      I guarantee that you will see more dealers drop by the spring and there will be one that will shock a lot of people.  I talked to a BRP dealer who told me that they have had more people bail on their snow checks so far this year than any other year they could remember.       Retail in general and a especially a product that no one really needs (powersports) is in big trouble right now.     Too many people got into powersports during COVID and 75% of them financed their purchase.    As money is tightening up the toys will be the first things to go or not purchased altogether.
    • Well, they dumped sleds in Oakville during last winter- so I can't say I'm surprised. I don't think it was ever their bread and butter and I believe at the onset - took them to sell Victory bikes - but I could be wrong on that.   I'd be more concerned when you start losing the real OG's out there.
