Where did you park in Orillia? Division Road and Carlyon Line? 

I rode Orillia to Waubashene and then continued on to do a loop through Midland and Penatanguishine and back this evening.  Trails were quite good.  Little bumpy between Orillia and Waubashene.  Groomer was out though.  He cut a lot of it out, but was still leaving some bumps behind him.  Trails were flat in the penatanguishine area.  Next to nothing for rocks or stones coming up anywhere in the trails I rode.  Came across 3 wet holes.  Two there was trails around to by-pass and one I had to get one ski wet in.  But more than manageable.  They have a base built in the trails I rode.  I was quite impressed.  It was snowing on the peninsula which helped the road running.  If you're looking to ride I'd consider this area.  Clubs are doing everything they can with what they've been given for snow.

Thanks for the report. I seen this on FB the other day. The Township will not be plowing the parking lot this winter. There was a local sledder with a backhoe who offered to plow it all winter for no charge but, as we all know, this leads to a liability issue so he's been told not to touch it.

We play Grey Bruce in Durham next sunday.  Wondering if I should grab the sleds for the balance of the day
