Same industry, sure, but not necessarily the same challenges day to day.
The only similarities a shop in one province would have to another is a sign on the outside, bringing a unit in - putting on the floor - and seeing it go out the door.
Beyond that - it's hard to compare anything really.
I should add that I'm in the Beaverton area, and usually ride out of Fenelon Falls, Gravenhurst, Port Perry or dash up Lake Simcoe from home and hit the trails from Brechin or Orillia. I am happy to drive anywhere within a 4hr radius for a day ride.
I'm also an early bird typically. I get up for work ~3:30am most days so I take advantage and park and get on the trails before 7am most of the time. I like to get the bulk of my ride done before lunchtime as it is so much more enjoyable when the trails are empty.
That being said, I'm happy to ride from somewhere early and then meet up with others 100km down the trail later.
One trail I haven't been on yet that I'd like to check out sometime is the A trail from Whitney up through the park. I have no reservations about doing that trip solo, but having a few more people along surely can't be a bad thing.
Actually, compared to a few provinces that also have a strong power sports following that came to mind, QC being one of them.
there is no doubt pain felt across the board, but being that I do work all across Canada I see provinces that appear to be handling things better than others, Ontario is not one handling it better but has the highest population as well.
