I’ve always let my sleds idle after riding, with a turbo now, same thing, temp I think creep close to 100, but as soon as return to riding, they drop quick.
your sled should have the fan that runs after you shut sled down that is pushing air through the engine compartment that should help evacuate some of that excess heat.

I find on my 900R the turbo can will glow under hard riding, even at idle it sometimes takes over 5 minutes for it to stop glowing. I normaaly don't bother with letting it idle because of that. In my riding group I've never seen a bad turbo.
