Sledgirl
A couple weeks ago our group of friends ventured to Sicamous, BC for three days of sledding in four feet of fresh powder snow, on top of the previously existing base. Here's a few pictures...... The trail headin in to one area..... A little drift.... A sweet meadow to carve on... A DEEP hole to stay out of.... My sled is in there somewhere... Could get stuck very easily, going DOWN hill....but I didn't! Snow cleavage.......creek bed.....stay out of there.... Just a bit of snow..... Most of the time it was overcast and snowing heavily, like this.... The way to Skinny Ridge..... Blue sky... A peaceful valley...

Sledgirl
Thanks for all the nice replies! It was one of the best trips in a lifetime for powder riding. We often get deep snow, but powder that deep, fresh, and untouched is more rare. So Evil, shall I find you a sled to rent next year when we go? Sledgirl
AWESOME!SKIDOOING We always call it sledding. Or sleddin'. No matter what the brand they ride, most AVID sledding people I know around here call it sledding. Non-sledders call it skidooing. Maybe it's a western thing, I dunno. But I also see your user name, and you ARE right, it is the most awesome feeling to float through deep powder.
