"North of the store" Yunno - as Searchmont does not sit square with the werld - I hafta ask which north your talking aboot. NW (532-paved) or NE (Whitman) ? skidooboy Posted February 25, 2009 Share Posted February 25, 2009 reginald and madaline hurtibuse (sp) they live(d) next to the general store. i believe their daughter owns the store now maybe? last year the home was for sale but they were still offering safe parking at their large plowed lot in front of their home. not sure if they are still there or offering that service or not. might want to call the store and ask. last year we left our truck and trailer there overnight while we rode the algoma loop. was a good expirience meeting them. reg is quite the woodworker, and madaline is one great baker. ski Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not quite as bad as Mo, but I was thinking White River or some such? Neither one mentioned folks next door "grew up here" when I first met them. ???
