C and L143 Closed North of Shinning Tree???

Any idea why these haven't opened at all this year..  Major gateway North?  Looks like everything north and south is opened so is there some land use issues there?  We normally stage out of Gogama when doing a North trip but that section is closed as well.

It is weird......I thought the L was reopened/rerouted a few years ago due to the consistent issues with the C so there were two options that way to fall back on one if the other had issues.

Perhaps another area with an abundant of downed trees and not enough help to clear.

 

Updates that I read online seem to be a lack of snow.....plan to open the C soon though if al goes well.

C is open now and L143 is next. they just finally got some significantly needed snow this past week. We just spent 3 nights at Auld Reekie.
