soupkids
So it's warmed up a bit and some snow is falling. Decided to take the old sled for a ride while the other one is drying out. Left from home and it was pretty skimpy going for a while, as i headed north it got better. Took the D trail to C then to 62 and 71 across the lake. With the blowing snow visibility was 0 If it wasn't for revrnd's gps map I would still be out there.
zoso
How thick is the ice out there?
Bigfish
Much the same down here Soup. Rode from home across the lake to Hiawatha for gas then onto the railbed (RL208) to Campbellford. Met up with another buddy from Codrington, then we headed up to Havelock for lunch at the Station. We took the 512 and 569 trail from Havelock down to Norwood, then back to the RL208, jumped off at the Indian River and rode it down to Rice Lake and back home. Couldn't see much crossing the lake, just kept the wind on the right side of the helmet, until the islands on the south shore came into view! The snow is still pretty thin north of Hwy 7, but trails are fair to middling condition.
