Panther340
Got this one on my tree camera in my Maple bush (they also peel the maple sapling bark in winter) I call this one a Moose selfie
Baylaker
Maybe the same one we saw! It was either the moose or wolf loop, can't remember, but I came around a corner and there it was running away from me...glad it wasn't running towards me... kimrr
Last March had to wait 15 minutes or so for a moose to get of the railbed trail near Bancroft. Beautiful big animal when you get to see them up close.
Freedom
Have a cottage about an hour east of Bancroft... there is a section of trail through a sugar bush between there and Wheelers Maple Products, probably 2 to 3 miles of trail, in the day time you can travel at 50kph but at night it would be suicide at that speed... we are not talking 10 or 20 deer on the trail, it's more like 100+ every time we pass through there. 02Sled
One of the best parts of the sport is the nature you see. Both the animals and the scenery. The racers should slow down and see what they are missing as everything goes by in a blur.
