  1. Actually they could by typing in policy number. I asked them and they verified that. I had it all in my phone. They are suppose to accept electronic copies now too. They always check since paper slip doesn’t stop anyone from canceling it and keeping slip I am fighting that ticket no response after 11 months. So I am guessing theh will just cancel it.
  2. Yup and it counts as a minor driving conviction. No such thing as a paper ticket when you are driving a motor vehicle. If you get a real prick of a cop that won’t accept insurance on your phone as being valid even though he can verify with it that insurance is in fact valid and then write you up for failing to surrender physical insurance card 🤬. Two traffic convictions 15 percent insurance sur chsrge then 🤑🤑🤣.
  3. That’s nice weather forecast Is now for a mild winter so north and Quebec will be place to go, I think.
  4. You ever order kits online and have them delivered?
  5. How do you get proper filter and gaskets part number for a snowmobile though? Thanks
  6. Mobil one is good oil though. You ever buy oil change kits from Amazon. They sell brp ones I noticed.
  7. Kit I was just going to buy oil from Canadian tire. Filter will be fine still 😎.
  8. You changing your own oil. Any tips to make it easier 😀
  9. Maybe they going to set those aside and sell them as in season full permits when ordered 🤷🏽‍♂️. See what number I get, when permit arrives.
  10. So far I haven’t heard a single thing from courts and it has been almost 11 months. After 14 months they have no choice but to cancel tickets if you apply for your right to a trail in a reasonable amount of time, under section in charter. My friend got his cancelled too. Seems local courts around here only see more serious convictions since covid back log started.
  11. Don’t sellers have to provide used vehicle information packages now? which show if any liens exist? Might not apply to sleds I am not sure. Haven’t bought anything used privately for awhile.
  12. Paid it why would you do that with courts backed up by two years. Most tickets get thrown out now. 😆
  13. What’s everyone think if district 5 can only open trails for a handful of days every year, will ofsc eventually say it’s not worth equipment investment in those trails, even though it’s volunteers doing a chunk of work? This equipment could be better utilized thru snow belt and improve rider experience no doubt. At same time will loose permit buyers, trails forever once closed.
  14. This is sad if it actually happens then closed for 6 weeks like last year 🤬
  15. All great guesses. I am going to say top B in stone-cliff to mattawa area will be open on Dec 22 in time for weekend 😎.
  16. Dinner bell usually is good for overnight parking. I usually call ahead and clarify if it’s ok. I always eat in resturant before heading out or when I come back in. Never used any of above options for overnight. I have also parked over at golf and ski in mattawa. Mike usually pretty good about it. Lots of sledders ride in there which frees up parking. That being said weekends would be tough at both spots during week you are usually good.
  17. Not changing sock that’s a waste of time. Hopefully my oil filter isn’t full of plastic 😆.
  18. Not sure seems they changed design and it’s a combination of parts and debris people are saying. Hit and miss it seems. Some have trouble some don’t. I think older 900 aces don’t have same delima, but could change sock if high miles. I looked and socks should be good for life of snowmobile. Filter suppose to be good for 2500 hours of use.
  19. I do it all the time on equipment. Most filters are good for a few oil changes and never get it all out of lines or pump. Snowmobile engine has no dirt contamination so I wouldn’t be afraid to use it over again. Time is money and never had an engine failure caused by doing this. I did some research on sock suppose to be good for 2500 hours of fuel filtering. Maybe if you have 20,000 km’s on sled , I would considering doing it. Sounds like you got a good one and isn’t giving you any grief 😎
  20. Wowsie that’s early. What did they find in there? I buy most of my gas in Jerry cans. I filter fuel with a very fine filter when I pour it in. I see squat on filter after pouring out 100’s of gallons of fuel, into garden tractors, atv, pressure washers etc. So for that reason in theory sock should be fine unless ethonal eats it and remains clogg fuel pump 🤷🏽‍♂️.
  21. Never had a fuel pump failure or trouble with doo’s. Never changed fuel filter sock either. Highest mileage one I had was my 2012 600 etec 17,000 km’s before I sold it. Maybe I am just lucky 🤷🏽‍♂️
  22. I think I read some where you don’t have to do oil filter every time, especially if you haven’t hit 6,000 km’s since last change. I have half that mileage so I just quickly drain oil and leave filter alone 😎.
  23. Should do chaincase oil and check tension. Sock on fuel pump will last life of sled. I haven’t touched one yet. I only use air and brake cleaner on clutches now. Oil don’t do them any good. Last twice as long being dry. You wash that new belt before you put it on 👍
  24. So permit came to 221.50 with all extra fees..so a seasonal will be 301.50 after December 1, with basic mail option. Now we wait to see how long it takes 😎
  25. You can just order one two day pass and use it all sesson. No one looks that close 😆. That being said I am ordering my seasonal tonight. 200 is a fair deal even if it is only two weekend or weeks.
