  1. All over different sled forums on FB. Website is comeplayinthesnow.com .. ( or something close to it) but its outdated. 2 tours he is offering currently. And the one that interests me is the one for 7 days all up north .. seeing as no one i ride with can get the time off or has kids.
  2. Guy keeps posting up about his tour company that is doing a ride for 7 days up north .. company called "come play in the snow" Any reviews ? Since Jan isnt looking so good, considering it as ive got the time off work for the dates he has posted.
  3. Rode from fenelon to Hali today .. from superior lot is fine. Going into Fenelon is icey under the snow. Lots of snow as you head north. And the lake in Hali just got staked too. Hali club just posted that they are releasing some big news for tomorrow, to check the interactive guide out. Well see what that means. Considering that Friday and Saturday are bringing into the area +75 mm of rain, id say everything will be gone by sat afternoon.
  4. go there every year at the start of season, to brush the rust off and work out any kinks on the machines. It is a place that you go with someone else though, not by yourself .. Normally get in there early for a ride, and the latest ive rode in the forest was first week of April.
  5. Having AED training is a benefit, so that you know exactly what your limitations are with it. There are certain things you do need to look out for when operating one, its not just as simple as opening it up and turning it on .. High school students have been receiving first aid training for the last few years, but only if they sign up for it under a special program the school offers.
  6. Alot. Every year i come across at least 2 wrecks on the trails .. everyone else standing around not knowing what to do or freaking out. Even with my wreck this year and that guy hitting me, people just drove by not offering help. More pissed that the trail was congested in that area with 2 sleds sitting there in pieces.
  7. Ive got a pair of Rouskis on my Viper and i find each season the supporting bolts that attach to the ski gone. Now i noticed that the black plastic piece covering the spring is gone now. The piece that you put your foot on to push them down with, if you have soft boots like i do will go through the bottom of the boot easily enough. Now on my third season of them, and wouldnt put on another set with any new sleds i get.
  8. email sent .. people should also just post up here as well if they have an issue trail side.
