Sledguy74 replied to Puggz's topic in Main Clubhouse
the difference between a voyager 650 2-stroke and S4 4-stroke is 5 lbs not sure where you are seeing the 100 lb difference.............certainly hope its a typo will be very interesting on the S4 fuel mileage, being we will all be paying $2.00/L soon haven't had much time to ride what I got so no need to upgrade for a few years anyway, the 650 works great -

Two new engines, nice looking lineup 998 twin 4-stroker S4 900cc non turbo 2-stroker 9R -
Yes the mid range performance is excellent I’m very happy I picked it, just wish I had better weather and more time to ride it lol
-
My 650 impresses up to 90mph then you notice it go flat but I’m also 250 lbs and sled is studless I would love to see a new big bore twin turbo for the trail but I always prepare for disappointment……..just like with this weather
-
Better be 2-stroke I’m guessing the mountain boost engine for the trail , unlikely larger displacement but one never knows what is in store

It’s shocking how some treat volunteers, doesn’t matter the organization. Those who complain will never appreciate the effort others put in!

Managed 90+ miles this morning , east of Elmira seemed better to maryhill a lot more traffic that way Came home to frozen slush sidewalks, dump the salt to it hope the forecast warm up is not as bad as suggested
-
Elmira trails not groomed this morning, fields still ok, east side of Conestoga lake not groomed but west side is , Palmerston teails not groomed seen a few out making the most of it like me sun trying to peak out now
-
Glad your getting out, I know what you mean by having a hard time finding days to ride last year I got out a fair bit but this year I just don’t have a lot of free time
-
New snow is very welcome, clubs didn’t groom all week from the looks of things due to the warm up, I didn’t put many miles on today. Glasses kept fogging and hard to see with all the snow however with cold temps tonight I’m hope full things will be groomed and crisper tomorrow

First thoughts, wind protection is much better on this sled, driveline is pretty quiet, new display is really nice… the video clip when you turn the key on is my shed in same colour which is kinda cool, ride is definitely an improvement not just the longer track but the shock package works great 650 engine was the right choice for my riding, light and nimble, pulls harder than I thought it might, so happy with all the storage over old sled, an ice ripper is NOT the same as studs, will have to get use to it even new cover had some cool features manual will need a thorough reading to learn all the display features
