  1. That being the case, I assume fund raising for a club is important
  2. Community partners like to support one another. I'm sure there is no real "pay off' - other than showing your mutual support for one another.
  3. His claim was paid. He was cancelled on renewal - not denied. Those are two completely different things. Any insurer or insured have the right to cease doing business with each other.
  4. Actually no, it isn't - that's why you have an "application". Because it's required for an auto to be on the road - there is a facility market if no regular market is interested in taking you on. Facility will provide you coverage if no regular market will
  5. Yeah, an Ombudsman. That said, there are always two sides to a story.😁
  6. Brokers don’t dictate payouts, your policy and the Insurance Act do.
  7. Paper maps were great for promoting the comraderie of riding. Stop, pull out a map, check the map smoke break ( for those that needed it ), rip on each other about their crap riding skills, push down your buddies kill switch, etc. I prefer those days
  8. 2 totally different insurance products.
  9. If you're full coverage on that sled - it's reasonable. Without knowing full details - hard to compare. I've been with TD over 10 years. Premium for coverage provided is better than anywhere else I have shopped. No claims - so no personal experience on that end - but it's an OAP - process is simple and I am not concerned about it as I know how to handle a claim
  10. Not if the agreement with the current provider was ending and no longer met their needs, regardless of whether or not a new player was procured. if the existing doesn’t do it, it’s over.
  11. Never used it, or a gpa of any kind while sledding, but I guess I can see why it would be a nuisance for some. don’t blame the ofsc if it’s liability reasons, blame your fellow riders and the elected officials. it’s riders that initiate actions. it’s policies that allow it
  12. I am just thinking it's entirely possible. we have no idea what Cat's true financial standing was Its great they had all that stuff - but it doesn't matter if their sales aren't very good Yamaha could have come to them and said - "hey, we have some good stuff too - we're going to bow out in a few - but for now -we have these contracts - we have this/that - lets' partner up - we'll share some stuff - you'll make a few more sales - we'll full fill what we need to then exit stage left" I just don't see Yamaha taking on the partnership to try and stay relevant in the game. They are a very smart and well run company - who make excellent products in a lot of sectors I just deep down think they are smart enough to realize the sled market is not a money maker - we'll gracefully exit - rather than just shut everything down and go home.
  13. Are we sure it wasn’t Yammi giving Cat a lifeline? yammi knowing full well they were exiting.
  14. 100% will be back to Polaris - my Cat has been fantastic and no complaints - but for sure going back.
  15. Should have sold/traded 3 years ago - just could not justify it - still can't 2 more years and then I'm onto a new unit. Soon as hockey is ova!
  16. I'm shocked at the asking prices still out there. If I could get what people are asking - that would mean my sled has cost me $4,000.00 in 10 years! that would be something lol
  17. Hope they can run on ethanol drenched fuel
  18. An the "informed" feel informed because they got their information from the CBC..............:)
  19. SRX’s are the best looking sled on snow. prove me wrong
  20. Correct on the 93 e-free with Shell.
  21. I disagree, but would say that Quebec generally has better weather for their trails. If we had the weather they did - I would see very little reason to go there vs. the varying terrain Ontario has to offer.
