If you go to the tacoma forum the gen3 truck guys either love or hate the wildpeaks. All tires are like that. Well, almost everything you buy is like that. Best thing is to do your research. Have a great wholesaler, retailer, or shop you trust when you do purchase something so, if something goes wrong, you have local help. Ski

I’ve also heard the Toyo 3’s are better than the 2’s, but I’m done with Toyo.    I’ll have a look at those falken wild peaks. 

Funny enough, I just bought a set of new rubbers for my 2500HD.  I’ve seen on some trucks falken wildpeak A/T4W so did some research and sounded like a good tire, so went with them. Still new, but they feel pretty damn good on the road, over bumps, etc… Last set was duratrac, they were not so good to me, my first set were really good and why I bought them again, but they were not the same great tire.  I’ve never heard a bad review of the Toyo open country AT III    

Ya the shop I go to road forces the tires. 

Whatever tire you go with, make sure the tire store has a road force balancer, and they really know how to use it. Have your tires road force balanced. It costs more for the service (about 100 or so per set in the US) but, doing it eliminates the chance of a bad tire, vibrations from tires, tells you if a rim is bad etc... GM mandated all dealers to get this technology to avoid tire/wheel issues causing vibrations. Ski
