I think your Apex was Black and Red, about sled three in your group. I believe your group passed my buddy and I at the 131 Y junction, with your group heading North on 131 towards A trail. We were parked on the North side of 131, having come down south.  Ref the un-maintained section, I would dread meeting an on-coming sled on either the East or West side as there is no place to pull over, from what I saw. We did the goat bridge, although it looks like some sleds went across the creek. Agree, the trails in this area are presently awesome. 

What was maintaince requirements I am curious? My manual  has hardly any maintaince but I don't have dynamic system either?  I find four strokes are expensive to service at a dealer too. About 350 more then a similar two stroke when I last went. If I were you I keep four stroke if you can't get what you want. I kept mine and it is useful to keep some mileage off two stroke. Two stroke if you put more then 3,000 on in a season no one will want it after 3 seasons 

I was on it for over an hour.   I found the suspension good, and yes the twitchiness could be set up or the OEM runners.   Having to wiggle my size 14 boot into the foot area because it's too tight made me nervous as well.   If I rolled the sled, my feet could stay locked in and cause body injuries that I would not sustain I was thrown clear of the sled   The maintenance schedule was a turn off as well, the Ski Doo and Lynx have less requirements.   I'm glad you're happy with your VR1, and I don't see how my observations could be considered as slagging, but that's your opinion as well.   Happy Sledding folks, and thank you @Strong Farmer for your comment

I read the document again. It does say “Or Equivalent”. In the confusion I must have interpreted it wrong. I paid $189.00 Cdn for 2.5 US gal or 9.7 Litres, $19.50 Cdn litre, personally I don’t think that’s a bad price. Going to look for a transfer pump so I don’t dump it everywhere.   Sorry for the confusion          

I do not always like politicians on many fronts, nor have I supported ford nation since Covid, but the earlier grant given to our sport and the way this latest news was presented embracing a true part of being Canadian, imo…enjoying the outdoors, I think is pretty darn good and looks good! No doubt there will be agendas either at play or thought to be.   Now, do we have the people to properly maintain/support these new hospitals….if you build they will come perhaps….
