3 Bears Posted March 8, 2012 Share Posted March 8, 2012 Our groomer is heading towards Sudbury now and Sudbury groomer is heading up from Capreol at 7 tonight. Received a call from the Gogama Club at noon today to advise me he is closing their trail as the lake is not safe. The trail from Elk Lake over to us will last the weekend anyway. Hopefully the weather man is wrong for Sunday or this could well be the final weekend for sledding in this area. We got quite a meltdown yestarday, but it got cold enough and a light dusting today to save the trails for this weekend. Kelly Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

14 snow Posted March 11, 2012 Share Posted March 11, 2012 We rode over to Shining Tree from Gowganda for lunch yesterday and the trails were still in good shape, ice hard base underneath a few inches of fresh snow.
