Lag 2 pieces of 2x8 together, the lengths are dependent on the sled. 2. Mount 4 swivel casters in the corners. One under each ski, the 2 close to the back. One can be placed in the center (or centre) for additional support. 3. The "Run Over Cat Flap is Optional" Place the long end under the sled and then drive on and drive off. It takes some getting used to. When driving off, be sure to point the back of your sled ay the nearest Yamaha, then let her rip! Use the emergency brake when moving the sled when it is on the dollie. It is difficult moving the sled on the dollie through the snow. It works very well on the concrete floor. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Would it be worth adding a section of old track to the spine of that dollie? Looks like a good Summer project to manufacture a couple of them.
