The Quality Inn (formerly Jolly Roger) would be better to ask that first question to. C trail is recovering from the not so stellar weather earlier but is passable to my knowledge. Faceman
C north needs "MORE SNOW" :curse: :curse: . Trailer the hour north.
gtserider
C trail between Pointe au Baril and the Key river has been groomed twice in the last week. The section just south of Britt always needs more snow. But right now it's as good as it gets. 800RTourer
didn't this area get hit with snow in the last two days am I better to drive north and if so where ?
Faceman
Yeap. They got snow..but I'm still singing "As my carbides gently weep" I would trailer closer to the bridges. The base on the C around Parry Sound is rock hard but this light powder can't be groomed to set. As to where? Where do you want to sled. If I wasn't going Cochrane way this weekend I'd be somewhere around the French and north. You can review many other posts as to places to stay..Just my two cents
trailblazer
The Quality Inn doesn't have much room when they have sledders staying there. So I would doubt they would let non-guests stay there. Nothing other than good will in it for them. Just a guess though. Jeff

slomo
what exit would I get off if I'm coming north on 69 ?to find the timhortons ? Take the exit which is advertised by the tourism information signs - there are also road signs advertising Lick's Tim Hortons etc.....four lane highway, (400) well marked. If you get to exit 217, you've gone too far.
