Any recommendations on whether to head north of North Bay or east towards Mattawa? Both areas are showing green trails. Any staging recommendations also appreciated, thanks! The Portage on Trout Lake Road (Hwy. 63) has parking and there used to be parking on Sand Dam Road north of the City on Hwy. 11 where the 2nd trail crosses the hwy. . As we packed our gear onto the sleds for our overnight getaway, the clouds started to part and the sun was shining. DanB Posted March 11, 2023 Author Share Posted March 11, 2023 Thanks for the suggestions. Unloaded at Tilden Lake Road parking north of North Bay.
