I buy a new good one and rotate it in. Left usually wears faster then right. Saves money later. I usually,  Jack up trailer check bearings and rotate spare in. Got 11 years out of tires so far, by doing that. Sometimes if you check market place you can find a used spare. Sometimes eBay too. I don’t like cheap tires on my trailer even for a spare. That’s not horrible they are getting pricey. I have close to 30,000 km’s on my trailer tires still good. inflation is key on these tires.
