Nunz Posted September 30, 2020 Share Posted September 30, 2020 We stayed at Elk Lake Wilderness Lodge a couple weeks ago, What a great place to visit, Stayed in Cabin 8, 3 bedroom unit. Very clean, beds comfy. They provide cook your own breakfast in the cabin for us, pack lunch and a dinner that was nothing short of a feast everynight. Did some great atving in the area very unlike what I normally ride, mostly forest access roads but it was fun to do some exploring in the area, Muskoka Man had told us about a lookout where there had been a helicopter crash a few years ago. Also found another lookout over Crane Lake which was awesome. Did some fishing a few nights and spent one day exploring the Montreal River on a Pontoon boat they had available. We will be going back there this winter for a weekend or long weekend for some sledding for sure. If there was one drawback to the cabin it only had one bathroom which could be a slight problem depending on who you are travelling with.
