probill
Thinking of heading up to this area next week and run up through the NCDN. I see there is this short stretch of the A (about 5km) that is yellow. This is the area north off of Hiway 570 towards where the closed trail L103 intersects the A trail just after the run on Sesekinika Lake. Does anyone know why its yellow and how bad it is to run? I checked the facebook page of the Kirkland Lake club but didnt see a reference to it. Thanks.
4mysled
if I am not mistaken, logging operations, approx. 5K as you mention, it is passable but a little thin on snow and lots of medium size , about fist size, rocks
Blackstar
I was through there on Tuesday and don’t remember anything horrible. As mentioned above, I believe the road was plowed. It was no worse than the road run section coming out of Elk Lake.
