Ox Posted December 29, 2019 Share Posted December 29, 2019 Base Camp Abitibi Canyon December 26 at 4:07 PM · Now that we are at the camp for winter we can fill our customers in on what went down there the 1st weekend of Nov, there was a B&E done there and they spent time there two trucks two trailers and we lost upwards of 80,000 in stuff including the new kitchen that was going in along with everything else they could take. The police were notified and have requested the camera footage from the dam to see if they can see anything but who knows!! We considered closing because to be honest we don’t need the bullshit and it isn’t like some people think, it’s a long cold hard 4 months and anything we do there is a fight with all the ministries involved and the costs of doing anything up there are of the charts. Anyways long and short of it is that we have had a security company come in and extreme measures have been put in place from here on forward. No we did not go through our insurance company because our insurance was very hard to get and it’s more less in place for an explosion or something along those lines. So if we don’t have everything there when people snap there fingers try and be patient because it has taken a lot of Will to open this year and a lot of money!!
