revrnd Posted March 2, 2019 Author Share Posted March 2, 2019 Good ride today. Did a loop, north on E107, TOP E & E109 (which was choppy). OPP was busy @ the gas station handing out prizes. Back to Porterville for lunch. Quite a few sledders in for a bite. Brinklows was picking up a sled that had thrown a stud & pierced a heat exchanger. Since the E109 was rough and a bit busy, I rode the railbed back to Coe Hill. Caught up to the cops (lit up) & 3 other sledders. As I was about to stop, the cops turned off their lights & left. The trailing rider walked back to me. I asked him if they had pinched them. He said no. There had been a moose on the trail & the cops had just stopped to let it just mind its business. They had watched the moose for about 5 minutes before it headed for the bush. I saw 6 deer between Coe Hill & the Faraday Rd. Some icy corners on TOP E from the village west to Ingram Rd (road running section). Rose Island Rd wasnt bad. 251 klicks for the day Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
