irREVerent
Just wondering if anyone has been up or down the east side of the Abitibi Canyon (A103) loop in the last day or two (or will be going that way this weekend), and can report on the logging situation partway up. I understand there's a short stretch of about 1 km that was down to mud in the mild temps. earlier this week...but there is apparently a makeshift by-pass trail to get around that bad spot. We hope to do that loop on Monday, so would really appreciate hearing a first-hand report on what it's like through that spot. Thanks in advance. From what I understand that they'll groom the roadside trail once they get new snow .... meaning they probably have the snow to do it now. At least there's fresh snow on the road in the meanwhile.
