old sledhead
Just got home from four hours of cutting an new trail to keep the top E102 from Eganville to Griffith and scsa 117 to dacre open this year. We had a new landowner on the rail bed just south of Eganville that would not pemitt us to cross 500 ft of the old rail bed that he now owns. Thanks to the three other guys that showed up to help two that are over 65 and one that does not even own a sled, we now have the problem fixed. I also have to thank the 3 new landowners that gave pemision to cross there land and cut trees to keep this trail open. Its going to be rough till we can get some equipment in to take out some stumps but with some snow it should shape up ok. I hope to get some pics up tomorrow . revrnd
OS, it's too bad the municipality didn't have the foresight to keep the railbed as a recreation trail.
