Hi,

I always see on the OFSC interactive guide these trails so close together south of my trails. These trails are in the Ganaraska Forest. Are these trails really cool? Are they really neat?

I am interested in making a trip there sometime.

Its a whole bunch of trails and side trails "loops", its neat for a ride every once in a while, or early/late in the year as it retains snow well. Not really a great place just to go to ride when 20,000 kms of trail are open, maybe with wife + family.

If you have never been Ganny is great.

Usually top notch shape and the main trails are 1 way which is rare.

Between main and side trails an excellent way to spend the day, well worth it IMO.

Don't forget the thousands of "cidiots" in there on the weekends!!

Like Steve said...if there's other places to go, then go.

Great place to ride...Monday - Thursday.

Go all day, and see maybe a dozen sleds, but stay away on the weekends

fxP4At3.jpgGot a ride in the Ganaraska Forest today. Stayed on the loops and went 60 kms! They were great as they have been all year! E108 was not good, lots of bare spots and ice. Get out and enjoy the day in the loops while you can. It won't last long with these temperatures.

Thanks to the volunteers and groomers who kept the trails in amazing condition this year.
