I'll Ride Anything
Winter of 2008 I would have buried 4 of those jugs up the road in Coe Hill. Overdue for more of the same.

Viperules700
I love the interceptor jugs as a snow gauge! Would be better if they were milk jugs though. Bring on the snow.

InFa_ReD
Hey Revrnd, can you please post a pic of the snow gauge Friday or Saturday after this storm? I want to see if the weather channel was right. Their calling for 20-30cm in the Bancroft area and 20cm for Apsley. Thanks
revrnd
Sorry for the absence of snow reports. With the holidays and working in the shop, I haven't been on the 'net much. Trails aren't open around here yet, but apparently Maple Leaf has groomed the railbed down to Bancroft. I also heard that a skidder had to be hired to clear the railbed between Whitney and Madawaska as they had to deal w/ a lot of downed trees due to the snow. This was taken on Sunday
revrnd
Snowed all day Sunday here in Apsley. 10" of powdery snow. last night's low was -2.2*F (-19*C). Currently it's 20* F (-6.7* C) and sunny.
revrnd
Snowed most of the day and wound up w/ 5" to shovel. Here's hoping the weather liars are wrong about the forecast.
