Entry level sleds, family sleds, second sleds. Hundreds sold to Hydro alone. Companies and people looking for a time-tested reliable motor at a sensible price are attracted to the 550 fan. They are a nice package and can see they would be poperly in cottage country in tight and twisty area's. Can ride them in very low snow conditions too, which is a bonus.
