    Helmets.

Purchased a Mission helmet today from Rosseau. Other than getting the breath deflector positioned properly, any other suggestions or advice that could be shared regarding it?
  2. Was planning on buying the Kimpex bag today at Wildbill’s place but seeing the bag in person, it looks smaller than I think what I will need….and don’t want to buy two bags. Looking at the LinQ 40L adventure tunnel bag now….not overly bulky and offers more room. Anyone have one of these bags?
  3. Tough year all around and a very unfortunate situation for the return of the Mach.
  4. Agreed - I think it may have been listed before Covid though, not certain, regardless, good move financially!
  5. I’m not sure why they sold - maybe at it long enough and time to hang up the reins…. I think it was around 15 years of ownership. I believe it was for sale for about a year before local cottage owners bought it….. I thought I remember seeing the listing a little while ago prior to them announcing the sale, might be wrong.
  6. Anyone know if the new owners of MTH will be continuing Kawagama TV? Always looked for Don's updates and felt as though he was a great ambassador for the sport and the business' in that area! I would think that It would be a big loss if it did not continue, but perhaps some big shoes for anyone to fill as well. There is still an active webcam though!
  7. Looks nice, that one is $330.00 Cdn: https://shop.ski-doo.com/ca/en/860201986.html There is also a smaller version as well for $245.00 Cdn: https://shop.ski-doo.com/ca/en/860202449-sr-5-5-gal-21l-linq-bag.html
  8. Why did you need to remove the air box?
  9. Lol, no I didn’t go that far with my tear down. But, given it’s location and if I had too, I’d first remove the tower brace on that same side and maybe gas tank to get access to it.
  10. Looks promising ! Might need a new snow flap though I am sure a lot of pumped people from the Doo camp.
  11. So finally took apart part some of the sled to get familiar with things. These doos are put together real nice, well thought out! Once you take all the plastics off, there is actually more room in there than you think. Lots of space around the intercooler. Adjusted the handlebars and controls to what I think I’ll like. Removed a bunch of extra stickers I’d rather not have. Trail pass installed - I placed it on the glove box extension behind windscreen. Also fixed the wrong install the dealer did on the glove box/cell phone holder. Surprised to see ski alignment was good though.
  12. That’s too bad. I know people won’t like to hear that and would likely cause some negative remarks, but I think if you are going that far to represent the manufacturer, they should do a little extra for ya.
  13. Any perks regarding this matter being an ambassador?
  14. Have the ETA/dates provided thus far been pretty accurate....or just a stab in the dark like everything else now a days?
  15. Good news! Very odd on the 1+1 seat, but just shows you how messed up things are, there is some hope that anything can happen and show up at any time. I myself am waiting on my 1+1 seat and was told Jan if I recall.....its all paid for, just need to pick up when it decides to arrive!
  16. Are you waiting on the kimpex bag or a different setup?
  17. I’m looking at those as well, but what I like about this one is the option to have it compacted most of the time than expand for trips. I’m not liking having a large bag back there all the time. Other considerations is a soft type of bag that is not as bulky but expands to your needs…. kind of like the one Turbodoo has. A bag that can be securely attached is another bonus. Next hurtle is once I decide on one, does anyone actually have it !
  18. Yes please. I’m interested to know if the bag in its expanded form could be used for a week saddle back trip. By the sounds of it, in its compacted mode, it has more than enough room to carry day ride stuff…spare gloves, tools, rags, rope, etc….
  19. What is the adventure 22L tunnel bag like when fully expanded? Looking at options to buy something and I kind of like this one.....I can use when compacted for just day rides for the stuff I usually like to carry & it is not that big or bulky for that purpose, and than it expands for possible saddle bag trip use....depending on the size of it of course.
  20. Ya, my DD was flawless - just so many others that seem to have issues, but you know how it is, only bad news on the interwebs..... I never had the Barney, just rode a couple as well a few guys had them that I rode with back than - reverse failure resulted in towing that one ton tank out..... Maybe the 144 track improved things in the floating department, I recall my sled would float across some deeper fresh snow and the Barney that followed just sank in it.....but it had the shorter track.
  21. Only one item of mine is B/O....the 1+1 seat. I am thinking I will run the stock shield this year to see how I feel and maybe do the medium next week. I need to figure our some luggage as well. @Turbo Doo I recall you posted the bag you use, I think it was a soft style of LinQ bag, mind posting info again?
