  1. Yep, agree 100% - unless the silliness stops, there is no way these sleds that people walked away from will be discounted. I hope it does stop though as the upward trend on all needs to be corrected, but sadly will not anytime soon.
  2. It would seem so and the same thing I read as well. I just checked the online parts catalogue and the 2022 Mach, XRS & X for sure use belt 417300571 (same one the 850 uses) Last year 900T used 417300531 - so different belt for sure. I know I read somewhere as well about people using the 850 belt on the 900T and not seeing any benefit other than a lighter wallet - but lots to do with perception as well.
  3. From what I’ve read so far, the Doo belt is not bad at all, just was not as sticky as the 821, making the 821 more responsive, but it dropped the rpm’s a bit so caused for slight adjustments with the clutch to compensate. Which was interesting to hear the belt on the Mach is stickier…. maybe they changed that based on the above feedback from previous years. I have both, so can test them both out and see if my seat of the pants feeling can tell the difference.
  4. I’ll have to look up the OEM belt specs, but sounds like 2021 belts are different than 2022…. 2022 are “stickier”.
  5. Good point - I wonder if it will fit on the Renegade, I think so based on the description on the website.

    Helmets.

Purchased a Mission helmet today from Rosseau. Other than getting the breath deflector positioned properly, any other suggestions or advice that could be shared regarding it?
  7. Was planning on buying the Kimpex bag today at Wildbill’s place but seeing the bag in person, it looks smaller than I think what I will need….and don’t want to buy two bags. Looking at the LinQ 40L adventure tunnel bag now….not overly bulky and offers more room. Anyone have one of these bags?
  8. Tough year all around and a very unfortunate situation for the return of the Mach.
  9. Agreed - I think it may have been listed before Covid though, not certain, regardless, good move financially!
  10. I’m not sure why they sold - maybe at it long enough and time to hang up the reins…. I think it was around 15 years of ownership. I believe it was for sale for about a year before local cottage owners bought it….. I thought I remember seeing the listing a little while ago prior to them announcing the sale, might be wrong.
  11. Anyone know if the new owners of MTH will be continuing Kawagama TV? Always looked for Don's updates and felt as though he was a great ambassador for the sport and the business' in that area! I would think that It would be a big loss if it did not continue, but perhaps some big shoes for anyone to fill as well. There is still an active webcam though!
  12. Looks nice, that one is $330.00 Cdn: https://shop.ski-doo.com/ca/en/860201986.html There is also a smaller version as well for $245.00 Cdn: https://shop.ski-doo.com/ca/en/860202449-sr-5-5-gal-21l-linq-bag.html
  13. Why did you need to remove the air box?
  14. Lol, no I didn’t go that far with my tear down. But, given it’s location and if I had too, I’d first remove the tower brace on that same side and maybe gas tank to get access to it.
  15. Looks promising ! Might need a new snow flap though I am sure a lot of pumped people from the Doo camp.
  16. So finally took apart part some of the sled to get familiar with things. These doos are put together real nice, well thought out! Once you take all the plastics off, there is actually more room in there than you think. Lots of space around the intercooler. Adjusted the handlebars and controls to what I think I’ll like. Removed a bunch of extra stickers I’d rather not have. Trail pass installed - I placed it on the glove box extension behind windscreen. Also fixed the wrong install the dealer did on the glove box/cell phone holder. Surprised to see ski alignment was good though.
  17. That’s too bad. I know people won’t like to hear that and would likely cause some negative remarks, but I think if you are going that far to represent the manufacturer, they should do a little extra for ya.
  18. Any perks regarding this matter being an ambassador?
  19. Have the ETA/dates provided thus far been pretty accurate....or just a stab in the dark like everything else now a days?
  20. Good news! Very odd on the 1+1 seat, but just shows you how messed up things are, there is some hope that anything can happen and show up at any time. I myself am waiting on my 1+1 seat and was told Jan if I recall.....its all paid for, just need to pick up when it decides to arrive!
  21. Are you waiting on the kimpex bag or a different setup?
