1005 - and the good dealers are usually just honest with you - they know what they have already - what else is coming in - and what they think they can realistically move.
Having a good relationship with your dealer is important in a lot of ways.
Running around all over the province to make a deal and save $300.00 doesn't always pan out in the long run.
Yes, if you have a good trade and a good dealer who can give you fair dollar because they are able to move it - it usually makes sense for me to trade.
I have never lost anything by trading - but have also done okay by selling private.
I take it one unit at a time and see where things are at and how my own time is looking, do the math, and make the decision.
Your time isn’t free, all the waiting around, showing, haggling etc etc, at a point, the wasted time and effort isn’t worth having it gone and moving on.
Sold my sons last dirt bike in 3 days too -priced it fair - took $200.00 less - wanted it gone.
guy showed up - looked at it - started it up - said we're good.
That was it

Applies to sleds too - add in that the activity is 100% weather dependent............
Big time market correction on the way.
Well, its un-realistic to think people need new sleds every year - and given the last few winters - even every few - and 1st time buyers I bet you could count on one hand - so that doesn't surprise me at all.
I was there a week and a half ago and could not believe how little snow there was.
Arctic Cat had a tent and all new sleds set-up at the Jolly Roger and were riding around there a little bit.
hit north of there and there was zero snow.
Oh, and what a weird experience I had at JD"s Smokehouse lol
The dealers can't afford to take a non stop bath - esp. when the manu's force units down their throats.
The manu's need to step in and assist or there will be NO dealer network to peddle their stuff anymore.
Banks will not finance these dealers forever either.
The bubble is about to burst.
Affordability along with a horrible winter is likely what the sport needed to be honest
They were better than okay for us.
Rode well, quiet, good grip and wear was excellent, always over 100k on them.
are there better tires? Of course there are, just like there are better vehicles than the ones I was driving with them too.
