Most road ride areas in the Muskoka’s are now toast until we get a new snowfall
-
Yes me too ,scratch on lone pine is bad, another scratch on 37 is going to get bad and the scratch 10 mins north of Bracebridge will be nasty now I’m thinking ,I’m feel like I’m on a island and the next few days forecast is not real hopeful
-
Did port Sydney up to 88 down to baysville then 44 back to Bracebridge .the trails were great shape today .190 k rip to top off the weekend of riding

Nice sled ,36 can be a nice little run when it’s groomed
-
Ride from port Sydney to Kearney up 37 and across the 80 series again then back down the d102 .trails were in great shape all over except around Huntsville they were chewed up .nothing new there though
-
we are heading up 37 at first light ,could take a little go south and look for you if you want

We have always call the big hills the Seven Ups ,and yes they can be tricky if going to fast as they create blind spots
-
Left from port Sydney and went north and rode the 80 series trails and they were top drawer for sure .then back down 37 and headed Bracebridge on D trail and about 2 ks south of 37/D jct there was yellow opp tape across trails .this is were the big hills are coming up D from Bracebridge

Made it back from new Liskeard to sand dam Rd this morn .some trails were getting a little soft. Everything around north bay were mint .ended up with 525 ks on the clock .but all and all this was a great little tour as all clubs had there parts in great shape

For sure ,we hit it just right not a bump fromNB to liskeard ,they got some new snow this week and cold and it paid off calling for sunny skies for the rip back ,next one 0n the list is NB to Gowganda to see Ron and Giselle for a beer

Yes all the Nb trails were in great shape for the weekend
-
Full house at Sand dam Rd today .took a little 80 k run around the block then up to new Liskeard in the am
-
my house is very close to D trail in Port Sydney maybe 2 ks I can hear the cans at all hrs of the day and night ,not annoying for me at all but with the new reroute on lone pine drive putting sleds going by several houses now there just may be a uprising in the neighborhood
-
Thanks for all the input ,new snowing coming early this week and hopefully all clubs will have it flatten down for our ride on Sat ,don’t mind the twisty section as I’m a Muskoka boy ,going up on Sat staying overnight and back down on sun morn hope my riding buds don’t bail

We are thinking of launching from Sand Dam Rd in North Bay and riding up A to New Liskeard next weekend ,looking for the do’s and Dont,s of this run ,looks like a about 175 k ride which is a easy one ,any thoughts from guys that have been on parts of this trail recently or in the past TIA MM
-
Yes they float it up stream about 2 ks or so and use it as a government swim dock at the park ,I believe it is the township that does the floating and attaching ,good to see the town and sled club working together
