Putting together an unfortunately early, End Of Season Ride. Trailer to Kapuskasing Wednesday March 9, Ride Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (hopefully meet Nunz and crew and Denis007 and family at Moonbeam Clubhouse), and return home Sunday. I am not sure that we will get another weekend so this will probably be it. Anyone interested?

It better snow after all this! We are hoping to have all the equipment ready to go by our Open House in November.

We will be back at it tomorrow night. More volunteers are always welcome. Also, a few of us also get together all day most Fridays to accomplish a few more tasks. The club buys lunch, usually pizza or bbq something or other on a bun. Anyone who has a Friday free is more than welcome. Hope to see some new faces.

Yes, Lamtrac is still in business. We have some parts on order from them.

Yes, we are. We get a very reasonable rent from the township and have a good working relationship with them.

Yes, there is. We have a list of specifics for each machine as well as regular oil changes, full wheel bearing service / replacement as necessary. If you look in the pictures, you will see how many wheels there are on each set of tracks. Quite a few bearings to do. Each set has to be removed, cleaned, inspected, repacked and reinstalled. As well, there are some major projects to be done on the groomers. One drag is in the process of being repaired, another has a number of welded areas that have cracks that need to be cleaned, rewelded, and gussets installed to strengthen them. We have some talented volunteers for the 'specialty' work but more hands are always welcome to share the load. We had a good time last night and made some real progress. Hope to see more people out next week.
