District 15 Map

Talking w/ brother today and he mentioned that there was a mistake on the District 15 inset map showing loops. The distance between D'ville & Hornepayne is labelled as 86 klicks when in reality it is 83 miles or 134 klicks via D108A. He said he'd already been in contact w/ Candace @ the Dist' office.

Also, the map has Mooseland labelled. To the uniniated, there is NOTHING there except for a closed truck stop @ the junction of highways 11 & 631.

Good catch. I have not seen a new map, but that could fool someone. I think it is over 100 miles when taking the long side of the loop and maybe more than 83 miles on the short side. Maybe more like 93 miles ?

Just have a full tank before setting out.

AC, you're right the distance using the "100 Mile Loop" trail north is 94 miles/152 klicks between the 2 towns.

And with the new trail changes close to Dub you may find that a few more miles need to be added to both sides of the 100 mile loop.

The old bridge is gone to the long side. The short side has had the new trail additions (no longer on the road) and last year they added a new bit of trail to the long side to get off the other road. Both will be much nicer than the road running once snow is deeper.
